| Grant Guidelines | When Lake County Cultural Coalition Board meets to review grant applications the following guidance will be used to establish priorities: 1. Priority in grant funding will be given to thoes applications that focus on the following cultural activities, Live Music, Fine Art, Live Theater and Historical endeavors.(that is endeavors that preserve or educate the public about Lake County heritage.) 2. Preference or priority will be given to grant proposals that target protecting existing investments in Art Heritage, Humanities in Lake County and long term economic development. 3. Priority in grant funding will be given to those applications that support and promote cultural education opportunities, especially for youth, at the high schools, mid-schools, elementary and head start. 4. Priority in grant funding will be given to those applications that support volunteerism related to Art, Heritage and Humanities partnerships. |

- Support participation in cultural activities that focus on live music, live theater, fine art and historic preservation endeavors in Lake county.
- Support and promote increased youth participation in cultural activities in Lake County .
- Support the protection of existing investments in Heritage, Humanities and Art in Lake County.
- Promote broad-based appreciation of cultural roots and divergent historical backgrounds
- Support a grassroot, county wide approach to building community participation in the Arts, Heritage and Humanities and will involve, creating, documenting, preserving, celebrating, presenting, promoting, and developing a shared Lake County Cultural Legancy.
