| Grant Guidelines | The Douglas County Cultural Coalition [DCCC] is offering grants to public or private non-profit organizations, or government entities, or individuals. Funds are to help support projects consistent with the DCCC Vision Statement as well as DCCC Priorities, Strategies and Benchmarks. Grants will be awarded competitively.
Applications for grant funds are available at any branch of Douglas County Library, Douglas Education Service District, or Umpqua Valley Arts Center.
VISION STATEMENT
The Douglas County Cultural Coalition aims to support cultural participation in the county as inclusively as possible. This support will reflect the needs and desires of all people, places and cultural interests within the county. This includes the support of ethnic cultures in the county and the promotion of unity and the celebration of diversity.
FOCUS
1. Heritage-related and humanities-related applications provide publicity, information and education to raise the profile of programs and organizations.
2. Heritage projects encourage that build community involvement in cultural diversity.
3. Humanities projects address communication and civil discourse.
4. Arts projects increase access to the arts for young people.
